Java Lead
Requirements
- Strong experience in developing Java-based applications using frameworks such as Spring and Hibernate.
- Experience with RESTful web services and Microservices architecture.
- Solid understanding of software development methodologies, such as Agile and Scrum.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to lead and manage a team effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A passion for technology and a commitment to keeping up to date with emerging trends and technologies.
- Experience with cloud technologies, such as AWS or Azure.
- Experience with containerization technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools, such as CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with frontend technologies such as ReactJS or AngularJS.
- Knowledge of database technologies such as MySQL, Oracle, or PostgreSQL.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of Java developers to design, develop, test, and maintain Java-based applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product owners, project managers, and architects to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, design documents, and test plans.
- Conduct code reviews to ensure high code quality and adherence to coding standards.
Qualifications
- At least 7 years of experience in Java development.
- At least 2 years of experience in a team lead or managerial role.
- Expert knowledge of Java programming language and its ecosystem.
Skills
- Coach and mentor team members to ensure they have the necessary skills to succeed.
- Participate in the recruitment and hiring process of new team members.
- Keep up to date with emerging trends and technologies in Java and related frameworks and incorporate them into the team's development practices.
- Ensure that all code is tested thoroughly to minimize bugs and issues.
- Contribute to the development of a culture of continuous improvement.
