Android Developer
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience developing Android applications using Java and/or Kotlin
- Strong knowledge of the Android SDK and Android Studio
- Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, and web services
- Experience with Agile software development methodologies
- Experience with version control systems such as Git
- Experience with unit testing and test-driven development
Responsibilities
- Develop high-quality, scalable, and maintainable Android applications using Java and/or Kotlin
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards
- Identify and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
- Collaborate with backend developers to integrate APIs and other backend services into the Android application
- Ensure the application is fully tested, meets high-quality standards, and is ready for deployment
Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Android Jetpack components (LiveData, ViewModel, Room, etc.)
- Experience with dependency injection frameworks such as Dagger or Koin
- Experience with reactive programming using RxJava or Kotlin Flow
- Familiarity with design patterns such as MVVM and Clean Architecture
- Knowledge of cloud technologies such as AWS or Google Cloud Platform
